Renato's Pizza Masters is a staple in Jersey City Heights for over 60 years. They are a pizzeria, fine dining restaurant, and catering service but not necessarily in that order.

The client issue was an outdated website that did not reflect the quality service and delicious food they are known for. It also did not work on mobile devices, making it hard for those on the go to locate and view the Renato’s Pizza Masters menus.
We completed a comprehensive job in revamping Renato’s Pizza Masters’ website. Here’s a summary of the solution we provided:
1. Brand Strategy & UX Research: Conducted thorough user testing to understand the needs and preferences of the users.
2. UX Design & UX Testing: Based on the research, designed a simple, easy-to-navigate, and aesthetically attractive website. The design was then validated through user testing.
3. Copywriting & Photography: Highlighted the brand’s commitment to excellence by prominently displaying their glowing reviews and awards.
4. Website Design & Development: The new website features Pizza Master’s entire robust menu and provides customers with well-organized information. It is compatible with all mobile devices and desktop computers.
5. SEO: Best practices were implemented to ensure the website ranks well in search engine results.
6. Daily Specials Tab: A tab that is regularly updated by internal staff members to feature Renato’s Pizza Masters Special Dishes of the Day.
7. Custom Map: A map was added to showcase the location of their two parking lots for customer convenience.
8. ADA Compliance: Ensured that the website is accessible to all users by implementing features that improve site usability for people with disabilities. This comprehensive approach not only enhances the user experience but also ensures that the website is accessible to everyone, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity.
After thorough user testing, our resolution was to create a simple, easy-to-navigate, and aesthetically attractive website. The new website features Pizza Master’s entire robust menu and provides customers with well-organized information. It offers exceptional navigation capabilities and is compatible with all mobile devices and desktop computers.
A Daily Specials tab is regularly updated by internal staff members to feature Renato’s Pizza Masters Special Dishes of the Day. We made this feature easy for them to do on their own and we have proven success working with teams who need these functions. Additionally, a custom map showcases the location of their two parking lots so customers can easily locate where to park when they arrive.
In terms of ADA compliance, we ensured that the website is accessible to all users. We implemented features that improve the site’s usability for people with disabilities. This includes providing alternative text for images, ensuring sufficient color contrast, making all functionality available via a keyboard, and making sure the site is compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers. We added an accessibility statement to their website that showcases their commitment to supporting accessibility.
