William’s experience with social sciences and liberal arts supplement communication skills that allow to better understand and assist others through marketing and research. Creative problem solving for real world problems is William’s forte!

Introduction 👋
My name's William O. Fogarty, I go by they, he, or she depending on my mood. I am a facilitator of creative well being with a master's degree in Creativity and Change Leadership.
Experience 📖
And I've been in the field since 2019, I didn't really discover that I wanted to be a Creative until I went to a conference called the Creative Problem Solving Institute. And I have a bit of a creative inheritance, so to speak, because my great grandfather was the original originator of brainstorming. So I got to go to this conference to learn about the method and what I discovered there was that I fell in love with the community. I fell in love with the energy and I fell in love with the idea that our creativity could connect us to our humanity, and that our creativity can also facilitate better wellbeing in our lives. Now, I am a facilitator of it, so that people can be empowered, not just within the sessions, but within their own lives with tools with practices, and with fundamentally a different experience of the world that they live in.
InCreative Journey 🚶
A series of pivots really defined my professional career, starting with the realization that I did not want to get into health communication. To me, that was a major breaking point almost, because everything I had done for three and a half years at college, up until that point, was centered around a certain career path. And realizing what I didn't want was actually, and has continued to be some of the most valuable learning paths permeated my entire life.
One of the major milestones, for me, thus far has been the completion of my master's project, which was the development of a health and well-being tool called Freeing Writing. So combining the tools such as creative thinking, creative problem solving, free writing, creative self expression, meta analytic thinking of being metacognitive, of being aware of our own thinking, and facilitating that in a way that is enjoyable.
And from there, I've been kind of piloting this as a workshop and making it into something that I'm really really proud of, which I'm now calling Creativity, Divinity, and Wellbeing, connecting these different strands of what have helped me to become not only my fullest creative professional self, but also my fullest expression of myself as a human being.
