The Hard Lessons series is created and hosted by Michael "The Bookkeeper" Oberther. Michael loves what he does! From the moment that he meets someone through networking, he gets the privilege to learn about them, their lives, and their businesses. He then gets to address how he can best assist them. Whether it’s connecting them with someone in his extensive network that can help them achieve their business goals or sending them to his company, Supporting Strategies, he can then take care of their bookkeeping needs. He is rewarded by knowing he is a part of their process and success!

Michael Oberther: I'm here with Ozi of Oh, design space. Ozzy, what is the hardest lesson you've learned in business?
Ozi: That what has proven to work for others, it's not necessarily going to work for me from my past in corporate when I was trying to create a very specific role model as a leader who now when I have gotten to know myself well enough to define my own career path and being courageous enough to walk down that path. That's for me the key to success. As I like to say, follow your patients. Trust your intuition. They are the real you.
